KINETIC AND MECHANISTIC STUDY FOR COPPER(II) REMOVAL BY ORYZA SATIVA FIBER
Keywords:

The mechanistic aspects of the work were explicated through the evaluation of equilibrium data and adsorption kinetics. Amputation of Cu(II) by OSF followed fast kinetics and was well satisfied by pseudo second order model. Equilibrium Modeling revealed that OSF followed Freundlich model, while physiosorption of Cu(II) on OSF was exhibited in Dubinin – Radushkevic model. Weber Morris model was used for the relative evaluation of external and intraparticle diffusion.
