Air Quality at Gas-Oil Field at Nara District Khairpur Sindh, Pakistan

The study was conducted to establish the air quality data at the oil and gas field of LASMO. LASMO oil Pakistan limited, a subsidiary of LASMO U.K is engaged in exploring oil and gas field in Pakistan. The data has been obtained at Nara gas/oil field, located at 60km away from district Khairpur Sindh. Data was collected for the carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxygen, and total hydrocarbons. The affects of wind speed, air direction, humidity and temperature were also noted. In this paper the measured concentrations have been compared with National and international standards and their impacts have also been discussed.ÂDownloads
